For my final post tonight, I wanted to share my analytical recipe for another popular massage product – Soothing Touch Jojoba Massage Lotion.
In my previous post, I shared the exciting news about my new “Dojo” / Exercise Room / Massage Studio. Now to expand on that post, I am sharing an analytical free formula which is a potential duplication of a popular massage lotion.
When I first made this lotion, I didn’t care too much for the smell. I didn’t hate it, but I thought it was a little bit odd. It smelled vaguely familiar, like an old memory. Perhaps a bit like a baby lotion or other gentle scent from my past. The longer I used it though, the more I came to really enjoy this scent.
I use this lotion every night before bed. The scent is relaxing and helps me fall asleep. Now I can’t live without this lotion –and I ran out of it around Tuesday last week, so it went on my “weekend to-do list”.
I have blogged about this lotion in the past, but I don’t think I ever posted the formula for it. If I did, then it still wouldn’t have the most recent changes to the formula which I adjusted to make the lotion a little thinner. In any case, below is a free formula for this wonderful lotion so you can have some too!
Last week, while on vacation, I posted a free formula for making a possible dupe of an Aveeno product (Sheer Hydration Lotion). It was a fairly simple formula really — nothing very fancy in it. Well, it turns out it’s a big hit around here! Continue reading “Beauty in Simplicity”
As every vacation does, this one went by far to quickly. I can’t believe it’s been a week already, but when I look back at all I accomplished in that week, I feel like I spent my time well.
This post is a round-up of all the things I made all week – this time with much better pictures. 🙂
As I suspected, dinner brought on new ideas for what I should do this evening. The requirements were: 1) No pressure. 2) Quick and Easy. 3) Able to complete in 3 hours.
So I waved my magic wand and transformed some chemicals and organic ingredients into a couple of “last thing on vacation” treats.
It’s the last full day of vacation for me to have fun. So I spent today playing. When the day started, I didn’t have any idea what I was going to make, but I decided to take on a challenge head on… more surfactants!
Surfactants have thus far been a fair-weather friend to me. I have had some minor success with them, one glorious victory, and many failures. So clearly, I need more practice!
